Save wildlife

Does give birth to their fawns in the hayfields so that they remain hidden from predators. Unfortunately, because the natural instinct of these young animals is to crouch low to the ground when danger arises, thousands of them perish or are terribly mutilated during the hay harvest.

Who are we?

The non-profit organization intervenes on a voluntary basis to detect and save fawns, leverets, and nests hidden in the fields before mowing. The 60 pilots of Sauvons Bambi rise very early in the morning to scout the fields before the harvest using drones equipped with thermal cameras, subsequently moving the detected small animals out of harm’s way. The pilots are volunteers, but they are in need of more drones and thermal cameras.

How your donations are used:

75%

of your donations allow us to purchase drones. We currently only own 15 drones. Thanks to your donations, we could purchase additional drones with thermal cameras (€6,000/unit) to be able to save fawns across multiple territories simultaneously.

25%

of your donations allow us to cover the various operating costs of the organization (telephone switchboard, flight licenses and authorizations, travel expenses, etc.). Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to maintain and even increase our efforts.

Our actions are multifaceted

  • Connecting drone pilots with farmers
  • Raising awareness among farmers
  • Rescuing fawns, hares, and nesting birds
  • Wildlife census conducted in nature reserves and plains
  • Training volunteers for fawn rescue

Why make a donation?

Have a direct impact

Rest assured that every euro invested contributes, with full transparency, to measurable and tangible results in wildlife preservation.

Prevent massacres

Every year, thousands of animals die or are mutilated by agricultural machinery.

Farmers are powerless in the face of this inevitability, but our drones now exist to prevent these massacres and mutilations.

Preserve life

Making a donation means investing directly in the protection of local wildlife in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Your contribution helps save fawns, as well as leverets and vulnerable birds.
